 Social justice and social service

In my childhood, I had a close friend and a relative , MOHINI ( name not real) , She married an aged but very rich person with a condition that he will support her for further education. She completed a midwifery and nursing course from Lucknow and nicely settled with her practice in Haridwar.

I met her after a long time in 2005 in Haridwar and knew about her and her job and life after she left the town, Jhalu after her marriage. Interesting to know; she told that during her professional practice, she aborted hundreds of the teen aged unmarried girls from different social back grounds. Each time, she performed an abortion, she planted a Mango tree. By then she had a big garden of sweet mangos whose harvest was sold for about a Lakh Rupees a year. She established a trust with he conscent of her husband the income from this garden would be used for destitutes especially the girls. 

She was happy that she planted so many trees of sweet mangos, income goes for a social cause, thousands of birds enjoy take shelter in the garden and enjoy the sweet fruits, many other types of insects live in the leaves, roots and stems of the trees. She was very satisfied with her job- considered social justice with those innocent girls, saved their lives, got them settled nicely in the society, otherwise prevailing social system would killed them or made their life miserable.

I feel that she really did real social justice and social service.

सामाजिक न्याय एवं समाज सेवा

बचपन में मेरी एक करीबी दोस्त और रिश्तेदार थी, रोहिणी (असली नाम नहीं), उसने एक उम्रदराज लेकिन बहुत अमीर व्यक्ति से इस शर्त पर शादी की कि वह उसे आगे की शिक्षा के लिए समर्थन देगा। उन्होंने लखनऊ से दाई और नर्सिंग का कोर्स पूरा किया और हरिद्वार में अपनी प्रैक्टिस में अच्छी तरह से बस गईं।

मैं उनसे लंबे समय के बाद 2005 में हरिद्वार में मिला और शादी के बाद झालू शहर छोड़ने के बाद उनके काम और जीवन के बारे में जाना। जानना दिलचस्प है; उसने बताया कि अपने पेशेवर अभ्यास के दौरान, उसने विभिन्न सामाजिक पृष्ठभूमि की सैकड़ों किशोर उम्र की अविवाहित लड़कियों का गर्भपात कराया। हर बार जब उसका गर्भपात होता था तो वह आम का पेड़ लगाती थी। तब तक उनके पास मीठे आमों का एक बड़ा बगीचा था जिसकी फसल सालाना लगभग एक लाख रुपये में बिकती थी। उन्होंने अपने पति की सहमति से एक ट्रस्ट की स्थापना की, इस बगीचे से होने वाली आय का उपयोग निराश्रितों विशेषकर लड़कियों के लिए किया जाएगा।

वह खुश थी कि उसने मीठे आमों के इतने सारे पेड़ लगाए, आय एक सामाजिक उद्देश्य के लिए जाती है, हजारों पक्षी बगीचे में आश्रय लेते हैं और मीठे फलों का आनंद लेते हैं, कई अन्य प्रकार के कीड़े पत्तियों, जड़ों और तनों में रहते हैं पेड़। वह अपनी नौकरी से बहुत संतुष्ट थी - उन मासूम लड़कियों के साथ सामाजिक न्याय समझती थी, उनकी जान बचाती थी, उन्हें समाज में अच्छे से बसाती थी, अन्यथा प्रचलित सामाजिक व्यवस्था उन्हें मार देती या उनका जीवन दयनीय बना देती।

मुझे लगता है कि उन्होंने सचमुच सच्ची सामाजिक न्याय और समाज सेवा की।
